Ingredients (for approx. 24 pieces):
100 g cashew nuts (unsalted)
100 g soft figs
50 g walnut kernels
40 g soft apricots
60 g coconut oil
80 g coconut flakes
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pinch of chili powder
salt
Preparation:
Soak cashew nuts covered with lukewarm water for two hours. Rinse with cold water in a colander, spread out on kitchen paper and pat dry.
Chop finely with the figs in portions in a blitz. Roast walnuts in a non-stick pan until they are fragrant. Let cool, chop with the apricots with a large knife.
Let coconut oil melt in a warm water bath. Mix all ingredients with 40 g coconut flakes, the spices and a pinch of salt.
Shape the mixture into about 24 balls. Roll the candy in the remaining coconut flakes. Let it set in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Put in small paper sleeves if you like, store at refrigerator temperature.
