Whole grain bread with sardines and radicchio

The advantage of having a cold: sardines contain a particularly large amount of vitamin B6. The vitamin strengthens the immune system

Ingredients for 2-4 servings

4 sardine fillets
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small radicchio
1 lemon
1 teaspoon mustard
1 tbsp honey
4 slices of whole grain bread / pumpernickel
4 tbsp cottage cheese


Fry the sardine fillets on the skin side in a pan with oil for about 2 minutes, season with a little salt and pepper. Then let it stand without further heat. Cut the radicchio into fine strips. Squeeze the lemon and mix the juice with mustard and honey to a dressing. Marinate the radicchio in it. Spread a tablespoon of cottage cheese on each of the wholemeal bread slices, put some of the radicchio on top and place a sardine on top. Finally, salt and pepper.
