Walnut rolls with salmon trout

Delicious culinary delight with nuts and fish

Ingredients (for 4 large rolls):

40 walnuts
2 tbsp flaxseed meal
200 g whole wheat flour
100 ml buttermilk
50 g low-fat quark
1 egg
1 packet of baking powder
1 pinch of salt
1/2 bunch of dill
100 g of cottage cheese
8 slices of smoked salmon trout

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (top / bottom heat). Chop the walnuts very finely, mix with the flaxseed meal, flour, buttermilk, quark, egg, baking powder and a little salt, knead well on a non-floured work surface. Shape it into four rolls and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

Finely chop the dill, mix with the cottage cheese. Halve the bun. Brush with cottage cheese and top with salmon trout.

about 20 minutes plus 25 minutes of baking time
