Whole grain walnut bread
Nutty bread enjoyment to make yourself

Ingredients for 1 loaf pan (approx. 30 cm long):
1 cube of yeast (42 g)
1 tbsp salt
1 tablespoon of sugar
500 ml of lukewarm water
250 g walnuts
600 g whole wheat flour
Preparation:
Crumble the yeast, mix with salt and sugar in the water and let rise for 15 minutes. Roast walnuts in a large pan without fat. Retain 50 grams, chop the rest very finely, stir into the yeast dough with flour and knead well.
Let rise in a warm place for about 2 hours. Knead in the walnuts that have been put back and place the dough in a large, greased loaf pan. Let rise for another 30 minutes.Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (top / bottom heat) and place a bowl of water in it.
Bake the bread in the loaf pan for about 45 minutes. Let cool and carefully remove from the mold.

about 30 minutes of pure working time plus baking time and time for dough fermentation
